“Loving the Lord your God and serving God with all your heart and soul. What is service of the heart? This is prayer.”—Talmud Ta,anit 2a

To deepen and enrich your spiritual life, Temple Emanu-El offers a variety of worship opportunities. We come together at times of joy and sadness, in celebration, and in support throughout the lives of our congregants and their families. Shabbat services are offered each Friday night and Saturday morning. On those days, you may enjoy a service in the splendor of our main sanctuary or in the more intimate setting of the Lefkowitz Chapel.

Other regularly scheduled services include family services, Tot Shabbat, contemporary lay-led services, and a morning minyan service every Sunday through Friday.

High Holy Days services reflect the diversity of our congregation, featuring two evening and two morning services and varied family services on each day. On Yom Kippur, we offer services and study sessions throughout the day. From Passover to Purim and throughout the year, we sanctify Judaism in joyous and meaningful ways.

In addition to the events on the right, families may wish to have a blessing or celebration to mark any life cycle event such as milestones, anniversaries, birthdays and travel.
