Haggadah, Reimagined
As a librarian and lifelong bookworm, I tend to seek out unusual books, specifically those that put a twist on a classic or are unexpected. The Passover Haggadah is ripe for interpretation, which, in turn, makes it the perfect book to reimagine.
The Asufa Haggadah, Hebrew/English Edition
Previously printed only in Hebrew, Print-O-Craft’s Asufa Haggadah gathers more than 40 Israeli artists who must use the standard Haggadah text to create a single page. This has resulted in a colorful interpretation that turns what can be a somewhat dry narrative into something magical and unexpected.
The (unofficial) Hogwarts Haggadah
One of the things I love to do when I teach my religious school class is to link Jewish values to something unexpected. This Haggadah with a Harry Potter twist definitely fits the bill and is one of my absolute favorite haggadot. It’s a delightful interpretation that can be enjoyed by both children and adults, showing that holiness is all around us if you know where to find it.
