The Golden Ages of Jewish History | Babylonian Jewry

In light of the challenge of this Jewish moment, exploring other ‘Golden Ages’ in Jewish history – each of which have been filled with great opportunity for Jews but also moments of prominent strife and struggle — can inform our responses as we navigate rising antisemitism and increased demonization of Israel in the world around us. Temple’s 20’s and 30’s community is invited to join Rabbi Michael Lewis for three Judaism Unfiltered sessions exploring these Golden Ages. In this first session, we will learn about the Golden Age of Babylonian Jewry, exploring the Mishnah, the Talmud, and the Rabbis as they helped Judaism survive in a changing world.
